Wednesday first whale sighting.

at the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort.
This is the Lahaina Jodo Mission.
The temple bell weighs 3,000 pounds.
It is rung 11 times each evening at 8:00.

On Thursday morning,
these two guys came to visit.

decide to come on land for a snooze.

This looks like a perfect spot
for a siesta.
We later took a day trip to the Haleakala crater.
Unfortunately, it was shrouded by clouds.
And, we forgot how cold it is up here!

On Saturday, we did a walking tour of historic Lahaina.
