National Park in Michigan and
Voyageurs National Park
in Minnesota.

(The 50th & 51st National Park that we have visited)
We spent our first night in Duluth at the South Pier Inn,
which is right next to the Aerial Lift Bridge.

Next we drove up the North Shore of Lake Superior.
The first stop was Two Harbors Lighthouse,
where we met a very friendly deer!

Next day, we took a boat from Grand Portage
to Windigo at Isle Royale

We spent a couple of hours on Isle
Royale.
Walked the nature trail where there was a ton of mosquitos.
Of course, we left our insect repellant in the car!
Looked for moose, but didn't see any.

Soudan Underground Mine State
Park
Minnesota's first iron ore mine. Closed in 1962
and donated to the state.
